BIOGRAPHY

My ceramic journey began at Limerick School of Art and Design, Ireland. I am currently graduating from Honours Degree in Ceramics. I am originally from Poland, I lived most of my life in Ireland but I go back to my roots every so often. The ceramic course has thought me how to experiment from two-dimensional to three-dimensional in clay, wire, paper, resin and other mediums. I have gained valued lessons such as how to take risks and to be expressive with materials as an artist or designer. I fell in love with paper clay, resin and screen printing on ceramics. As an artist, it is difficult to explore one medium because I have an urge to be creative and fulfill my ideas through many experiments before I set on one.

During my course, I had the opportunity to take part in two exhibitions, in Ireland and an International Postcard Exhibition. I feel that being part of an exhibitions helps young artists like myself to connect with other artists and progress creatively into the future. Being full time artist has developed into my great passion and my work is driven by it.
